There’s No Room For Violence In Footy
The “There’s No Room for Violence in Footy” course is an educational program designed to help players and members better understand the impact of violence, abuse and unacceptable behaviour within football environments. It focuses on promoting respect, accountability and safer club cultures, while encouraging participants to reflect on their actions both on and off the field. The course also highlights the importance of creating welcoming and inclusive environments for everyone involved in community footy.
This course will take you up to 45 to 60 minutes to complete


2025 AFL Education: LGBTQI+ Inclusion Module
This module educates players, coaches and club members on creating inclusive and respectful environments for LGBTQI+ people in football. It covers prohibited behaviour and language, inclusive terminology, the AFL’s vilification and discrimination rules, the harms caused by homophobic, biphobic and transphobic behaviour, inclusion of trans and gender diverse players, the importance of representation and how individuals can be active allies within their clubs and communities.
This course includes educational content followed by a short quiz to test your learnings at the end.
AFL Vilification & Discrimination
This module educates players and club officials on their responsibilities under the AFL’s Vilification and Discrimination Rule (Rule 35). It outlines prohibited behaviour, including discrimination or vilification based on race, religion, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation or gender identity, while reinforcing the importance of creating welcoming and inclusive football environments. The course also explains the actions individuals can take if they experience or witness inappropriate behaviour.
This course includes educational content followed by a short quiz to test your learnings at the end.
