Welcoming Tony Walton: PFL’s New Competition Integrity Officer

The Perth Football League (PFL) is excited to welcome Tony Walton as our new Competition Integrity Officer. Tony joins us with an extensive background in compliance, investigation, and stakeholder engagement, bringing a wealth of expertise to this crucial role.

Tony has spent over 29 years working in law enforcement and compliance, including senior investigative leadership roles with the WA Police Force and Racing and Wagering WA. His career has been defined by his dedication to integrity, continuous improvement, and fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders. Notably, Tony has a proven track record of implementing innovative compliance programs, conducting complex investigations, and guiding teams to achieve operational excellence.

In his role as Competition Integrity Officer, Tony will be responsible for ensuring our competition upholds the highest standards of fairness, safety, and inclusivity. This includes investigating breaches of amateur status rules, promoting respect and responsibility, and supporting our clubs to comply with the PFL By-Laws and policies. His commitment to creating safe and inclusive environments aligns perfectly with the PFL’s values of Excellence, Integrity, Respect, and Teamwork.
