‘Pink Tiger Day’ raises $41,000 for The McGrath Foundation

Curtin University Wesley’s annual Pink Tiger Day was held on Saturday 18 May at South Oval, Bentley.

Now in its ninth year the Pink Tiger Day raises money for the McGrath Foundation. With the league side wearing pink guernsey’s, 250 guests enjoyed the match from a pink themed marquee with canapes, wine and live music.

The 2019 Pink Tiger Day raised $41,000 bringing the total raised over the past nine years to $311,000 and continues to be the largest fundraiser for The McGrath Foundation by any community sporting club Australia wide.

Nat Locke from Nova FM was the MC, with founder of The McGrath Foundation, Tracy Bevan making the trip from Sydney to be part of the day.
