Perth Football League COVID-19 Interim Restrictions Update

The West Australian State Government has announced today that interim COVID-19 restrictions will be in place starting 12.01am Tuesday 27 April until 12.01am Saturday 1 May.

WA’s lockdown will end at midnight tonight but interim restrictions will apply for the next four days. During this period, training can proceed with players and officials but no spectators. Clubrooms can reopen, however the 4 square metre capacity rule will be in place, with a limit of 20 patrons.

Masks must be worn at all times, including at indoor venues such as clubrooms. Masks are required to be worn outdoors, except for individuals that are engaging in vigorous exercise.

At this stage, matches fixtured for 1 May will proceed as normal. We have not made a decision on the status of matches from last weekend. We envisage to provide this to clubs by the end of week.
