Kingsley gain confidence in their new grade

After being elevated from C1 last season, Kingsley have wasted no time proving they are a real contender in the B Grade competition.

The Kingsley Cats spent five years in C1 before finishing the 2017 season as minor premiers with only three losses.

They have continued that form into 2018 and now find themselves as the only team in B Grade to remain undefeated this season after six rounds.

Kingsley will be gaining some confidence in their form with wins over 2017 preliminary finalists North Fremantle, semi-finalists Swan Athletic, C1 Premiers Thornlie as well as 2017 A Grade sides West Coast and Whitford.

This is the second consecutive year the side has been coached by former Fremantle Dockers player Antoni Grover who currently holds a 21- 3 win/loss record across his two seasons in charge.

This Saturday 19 May Kingsley face fifth placed Collegians at Kingsley Park.

Kingsley’s season so far:

  • Rd 1- def Thornlie by 30 points.
  • Rd 2- def West Coast by 21 points.
  • Rd 3- def Swan Athletic by 83 points.
  • Rd 4- def Maddington by 18 points.
  • Rd 5- def North Fremantle by 13 points.
  • Rd 6- def Whitford by 15 points.
