Facility Survey Results Released

THE WA Football Commission has released a report rating senior community football clubs facilities to prioritize the clubs in need of improvements.

The results of the report will be used to assist in the distribution of a State Government Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) to clubs wanting to improve their facilities.

All 71 senior clubs competing within the Perth metropolitan area were given opportunity to supply facilities information through the completion of a survey.

In total, 59 clubs completed the 2011 survey with the facilities information for a further six clubs being obtained through the results of a 2005 survey.

The results of the survey were collated with a process developed for rating the clubs needs for facilities improvement.

Club facilities were graded on the need for improvement and also the amount of participants at the club to reflect a more equitable outcome.

The full report will be distributed to all WA Amateur Football League clubs in the coming week.
