EGT PFL Colts Set for Further Growth in 2025

Colts footy continues to surge in the Perth Football League, with a record 65 teams set to take to the field in 2025 – up from 57 in 2024. It’s the second straight year of significant growth for the colts competition, a clear sign of sustainable momentum building at one of the league’s key segments.

The season sees two new clubs join the competition in Hammond Park and Swan View, as the PFL continues to expand its footprint and create more pathways for young footballers across the metro area.

The EGT Colts grades return in 2025 thanks to the continued support of Electrical Group Training (EGT), who remain committed to developing the next generation both on and off the field. EGT’s partnership has been instrumental in helping clubs deliver strong colts programs while creating awareness around valuable apprenticeship opportunities.

The PFL also continues its proud collaboration with the West Coast Eagles, with each colts grade named in honour of past West Coast players who began their journey in the PFL. The partnership now enters a 23rd year highlighting the commitment to strengthening pathways for younger footballers.
