Colts to be powered by the state’s largest electrical apprentice employer

The Perth Football League is delighted to announce a new two-year partnership with Electrical Group Training (EGT) as major partner of the Colts competition.

The new partnership will see EGT placed on the front of Colts team guernseys while also becoming the naming rights partner for the League’s six Colts grades.

This alignment will allow EGT to connect to the PFL’s 2,000+ Colts players and assist those considering a career or currently working as an electrical apprentice.

EGT’s commitment comes after a successful two years supporting the West Australian Football Commission.

PFL Chief Executive Officer Andrew Dawe applauded EGT’s decision to support the largest colts aged group community football competition in the state.

“We are proud to have EGT on board as our Major Partner for the Colts competition and look forward to working them to ensure the partnership achieves mutually beneficial outcomes,” Dawe said.

“This is the first year of a deal which we hope becomes a long and successful partnership for both parties.”

EGT Chief Executive Carl Copeland believes the deal will produce several positives.

“Our commitment to the PFL Colts reflects our dedication to supporting local football and providing career pathways for young athletes beyond the field,” Copeland said.

“Given the growing demand for clean energy solutions globally, there’s never been a better time to pursue a career in the electrical industry and we look forward to seeing the impact this expanded partnership has on promoting the electrical trade while contributing to the growth and success of football in our community.”
