Budget Driving Community Football Forward in Major PFL Partnership

The Perth Football League is excited to announce a new major partner, with Budget Car and Truck Rental, Australia’s leading car, bus and truck rental business, coming on board as the official Naming Rights Partner of the 2025 Budget PFL Finals Series, and from 2026, the headline sponsor of the League’s men’s and women’s competitions.

From next season, each of the League’s Men’s and Women’s grades will proudly carry the Budget name, including the Budget A Grade Men’s and Budget A Grade Women’s, as part of a multi-year commitment to help drive community football forward.

PFL Chief Executive Officer Andrew Dawe said the partnership was a significant moment for community football in Western Australia.

“Budget is a household name, and to now see it backing our clubs, players and volunteers is a huge win for the game,” Dawe said.
“We’re proud to call ourselves the premier community football competition in Australia, and to have Budget supporting that journey – both on and off the field – means a great deal.”

The partnership will also see Budget support the League operationally, assisting with matchday, events and operational delivery across the season.

Budget’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Shaun Illingworth, said the company is thrilled to be getting behind the people and passion that make community footy so special.

“This partnership is about more than branding, it’s about being part of something local, meaningful and full of energy,” Illingworth said.

“We’re proud to align with another WA organisation whose values reflect our own at Budget. Supporting the heart of grassroots footy in Western Australia is something we’re genuinely excited about and we can’t wait to see the Budget name front and centre during the biggest moments of the season.”

The partnership forms part of a new era for the PFL as it continues to grow its audience, broadcast footprint and community impact.
