2026 PFL Fixtures Released

The Perth Football League is pleased to confirm the key dates for the 2026 season, with another exciting year of community football on the horizon.

The season will officially get underway on Saturday, 11 April, with all Men’s, Women’s and Colts grades taking the field for Round 1. As always, Round 1 marks a significant moment for clubs across the competition, bringing players, volunteers and supporters back together for the start of a new campaign.

Throughout the season, several key rounds will once again feature as important moments on the PFL calendar. ANZAC Round will take place on 25 April, providing an opportunity for clubs and communities to come together to recognise and honour those who have served. The Life Without Barriers Integrated Competition will also commence across this round.

Mid-season will see representative football return across the Country v PFL weekend on 19 June, where Country Football WA will take on the PFL in both men’s and women’s matches. This weekend will coincide with a scheduled bye for A Grade Men, A Reserve Men, all Women’s grades and Phil Scott Colts, with all other grades remaining in action across the competition.

NAIDOC Round will once again be a feature of the season, held across two rounds on 4 July and 11 July. This approach ensures as many clubs as possible have the opportunity to host a home NAIDOC fixture, celebrating Indigenous culture and the contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to the game.

The EGT Colts competition will also take centre stage on 17 July, with the annual North v South Colts Clash highlighting the depth of emerging talent across the League.

A key feature of the 2026 season is the continued alignment of the A Grade Women’s competition with A Grade Men. A Grade Women will play an 18-round home and away season, mirroring the men’s competition, and will feature on Grand Final day alongside A Grade Men. A Reserve Women will continue with a 16-round home and away season, with their Grand Final played alongside the broader women’s competitions two weeks prior. This structure strengthens the overall match day experience and continues to elevate the visibility of women’s football across the League.

Please note that all fixtures and dates remain subject to change. Adjustments may occur depending on team entries, grading structures and broader competition requirements.

The Perth Football League would like to acknowledge and thank our competition partners for 2026. Budget Car and Truck Rental proudly supports the Men’s and Women’s competitions, Electrical Group Training (EGT) continues its support of the Colts competition, and Life Without Barriers remains the naming rights partner of the Integrated Competition.

With Round 1 fast approaching, clubs can now begin to lock in key dates and prepare for the season ahead, as the PFL looks forward to another year of community football in 2026!
