Women’s Grand Final Teams Locked In After Thrilling Prelims

The stage is set for the 2025 Budget Car and Truck Rental Women’s Grand Finals, with seven grades ready to battle it out for premiership glory this Saturday. After a gripping weekend of preliminary finals, the best of Perth’s women’s football will come together at HIF Health Insurance Oval and Burrendah Reserve.

This is the pinnacle of women’s community football — where grassroots passion meets premiership glory, where clubs rally together, and where players have the chance to etch their names into PFL history. From the early bounce to the standalone A Women’s Grand Final at 5:00pm, the day will celebrate the incredible talent, determination, and community spirit that makes this competition so special.

A Women – Standalone Showcase

  • Grand Final: University vs Baldivis

The headline act of the weekend will be the A Women’s Grand Final, held as a standalone match at 5:00pm on Saturday.

In their debut A Grade season, Baldivis stunned Curtin Uni Wesley with a gritty 5-point win, 5.5 (35) to 4.6 (30). Sabreena McKinnon and Sara Sammons were the heroes, kicking two goals each to seal a historic spot in the decider. They’ll now face University, who qualified a week earlier, in what promises to be a thrilling contest.

A Reserves Women

University will be chasing a league-and-reserves double after overcoming Curtin Uni Wesley 4.4 (28) to 0.4 (4). They’ll face North Fremantle in the Grand Final.

B Women

  • Grand Final: Trinity Aquinas vs Hamersley Carine
  • Venue: Burrendah Reserve
  • Time: 3:00pm

Hamersley Carine held off Quinns District in a tight 4.3 (27) to 3.5 (23) victory. The result not only sends them into the Grand Final but also secures promotion to A Grade for 2026. They’ll meet Trinity Aquinas for the premiership.

C1 Women

  • Grand Final: Kelmscott vs Ocean Ridge
  • Venue: Burrendah Reserve
  • Time: 1:00pm

Kwinana will rue missed opportunities in front of goal after kicking 2.8 (20) to Ocean Ridge’s 3.4 (22). Ocean Ridge will now face Kelmscott in the decider.

C2 Women

  • Grand Final: Ballajura vs Swan Valley
  • Venue: HIF Health Insurance Oval
  • Time: 1:00pm

Swan Valley produced a commanding 9.6 (60) to 3.0 (18) victory over Canning Vale, with Captain Hannah Stephens slotting two goals and Chanel-Rose Jetta kicking three. They’ll now take on Ballajura in the Grand Final.

C3 Women

  • Grand Final: Bayswater vs Kingsway
  • Venue: HIF Health Insurance Oval

A dominant performance from Melisha Hardy, who bagged five goals, saw Kingsway defeat Hills Rangers 9.6 (60) to 2.2 (14). They’ll now meet Bayswater in the decider.

C4 Women

  • Grand Final: Manning vs Ellenbrook
  • Venue: Burrendah Reserve
  • Time: 11:00am

Courtney West booted five majors as Ellenbrook stormed past Trinity Aquinas 10.8 (68) to 2.2 (14). They’ll now clash with Manning in the Grand Final.
