West Coast Eagles State Amateur U/23’s Finish Second

The West Coast Eagles State Amateur U/23’s have finished second in the AAFC National Championship, going down to Victoria in the final yesterday at Thebarton Oval in Adelaide.
After defeating Tasmania and South Australia to earn a place in the final, the WA team was confident heading into Sunday’s final but were defeated by the reigning AAFC Tri-Annual Series Champions by 70 points.
The loss means that the West Coast Eagles State Amateur U/23’s took second place while host state South Australia claimed third, defeating Tasmania comfortably in the playoff for third and fourth.
