Welcome to 2010

On behalf of the Community Football Office team, I would like to welcome everyone to the start of a new football year. We hope you all had an enjoyable festive season.

On a personal level, I am looking forward to being involved in football again. There are many challenges and exciting opportunities for community football to continue its growth in 2010. I would like to acknowledge the tremendous work done by Brendan Cullinan during his four years in the CEO role. Brendan oversaw many changes that have benefitted metropolitan football and we wish him all the best in his new endeavours.

The Community Football Office has now reopened for the 2010 season. The team has returned, energised and refreshed to provide you with their support. I look forward to meeting everyone involved in community football over the coming months. In particular, I am keen to visit club land and meet those volunteers ensuring our great game continues to thrive. I wish all clubs every success on and off the field for the coming season!
