Rivalry to take centre stage in Dianella

Dianella Morley Amateur Football Club and Manning Rippers Amateur Football Club will battle it out on Saturday 16th May, at Light Street Reserve in Dianella for the “Community Cup”
The Cup was an initiative, as part of the Community Football Weekend celebrations held in May 2008.
Chris Chadd, President of the Dianella Morley Club in conjunction with the Manning Rippers Club, have decided that each time the two sides play each other “The Cup” would go to the winning side on a combined points tally between the League and the Reserves sides
Further the two Clubs would also present a best player medal for both league and reserves for each club in both games
Mr. Chadd said everyone involved with both Clubs was looking forward to the games and hoped that as many people as possible would come out and show their support for the local club’s.
“This is a great opportunity for anyone who has an interest in footy, to come and celebrate with both club’s and also catch up with old friends at the same time,”
