New Board Members Elected at AGM
01 Dec, 2011
A new Vice President and new Board Member were elected at last night’s WA Amateur Football League AGM.
Current WAAFL Board Member Peter Grosser was elected by the member clubs as Vice President, replacing the outgoing Trevor Howard, while former Trinity Aquinas President and current Finance Sub-Committee member George Nicholls was elected as a board member.
Joining them on the board is Bill Armstrong who was re-elected to the board by the member clubs.
All newly elected board positions are for a three year term.
The election of Peter Grosser means that the WA Amateur Football League Board will be without Trevor Howard for the first time since 2003.
Mr Howard was first elected to the WAAFL board in 1985 and served to 1991 before taking up other ventures in 1992. He was re-elected to the board in 2004 and in 2006 he was elected Vice President where he served for six years.
The WA Amateur Football League would like to thank Trevor Howard for his service and congratulate the newly elected board members.
