Manning Colts too Strong for Ballajura

MANNING Rippers colts enjoyed a solid 26-point win against a determined Ballajura during WAAFL C3 grade finals action at the weekend.
A stellar third quarter by Manning was the catalyst for the 13.7 (85) to 9.5 (59) victory, with captain Aaron Holmes outstanding. Utility Hayden Noordek starred in the forward line with five goals, while imposing centre half back Jordan Strahan was a standout in defence.
The Rippers will hope their hot form continues into next week’s second semi final against St Norbert’s.
In reserves action, Manning was unable to keep up with a speedy St Norbert’s who won 7.18 (60) to 4.2 (26) in a hard-fought contest.
