Ladies Day at Brentwood Booragoon
21 Apr, 2011
ON Saturday April 30 Brentwood Booragoon Football Club will host its annual Ladies Day at Karoonda Park, Booragoon.
Originally devised as a way to recognise the off field contribution made by the women behind the club’s players, Ladies day has developed into a full community wide event. It’s a chance for Brentwood Booragoon FC to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer research with all players wearing Pink armbands and donating part of their match fee to the worthy cause.
Starting around Midday, there will be stalls fromexhibitors such as Emma Paige Jewellery, Artistry Make- Up, Tupperware, Neutrimetics, Techno Tan and many more.
There will be drink specials throughout the day and wine tasting on offer at 4.30pm towards the end of the League game and from 8pm cocktail food will be served, raffles and door prizes will be drawn and the Karaoke machine will be dusted off for a night of fun and debauchery.
Volunteers throughout the day will be running raffles and money boards to help raise funds for breast cancer research and the club.
All events throughout the day are free and everybody is welcome to come down and for a good cause. Tickets are required for the evening festivities and can be purchased from bbfc.net.au at a cost of $20 each for 2 or more tickets.
