Kingsway play host to the ladies of WAAFL
18 Jun, 2009
The Kingsway Amateur Football Club will play host to Belmont and the ladies of Amateur football this Saturday when they play host to “Ladies Day” at Kingsway Reserve. Ladies Day is an initiative to raise awareness and money in an effort to fight Breast Cancer.
The club will be collecting gold coins at the gate and conducting a raffle with all proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Foundation. If that’s not enough incentive enough to get down, the boys of Kingsway will be wearing specially made pink jumpers for the day thanks to Kambos Malaga.
The Greenwood Liquor Store has donated some champagne and the club is putting on activities throughout the day including a live band (“Jam Session”) later in the night.
The Kingsway Amateur Football Club invites all mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters and everyone fan down for the day to show appreciation for all the effort they go through during, and after the football season while raising money for a good cause.
