Carlisle Celebrates 50th Year

THE Carlisle Football Club ended its 50th Season Celebrations with their annual Awards night in front of 120 people at the Victoria Park Bowling Club on Friday the 23rd September.

Major award winners were;

WAAFL Association Fairest and Best, Laurie Keene Colts – Reyner Wells

League Fairest and Best – Jason Cassimaty

Reserves Fairest and Best – Leon Guthrie

Colts Fairest and Best – Reyner Wells

The Gary Stickman Award for excellence in club service – Greg Sheppard

The Bob Thompson Achievement Award recognising contribution and performance across multiple grades – Jack Parry

Life Membership was awarded to Tony Di Leo and Mike Godfrey

The Carlisle Football wishes to thank all who have been a part of our club’s 50th Season celebrations which saw a “Superstars and Legends” game played in May, followed by over 200 people attending the Celebration Dinner at Gloucester Park in July and the Awards night to wrap the season up.
