A call to Community Football Clubs to help celebrate 150 years
16 Apr, 2008
With Community Football Weekend only three weeks away, senior community football clubs around the country are encouraged to go on line and register their club’s activities in celebration of Australian Football 150 Years.
Register your details here and if your club is judged by the Australian Football 150 Years Team to have organized the most creativity activities and have best engaged the community you could win a training and development session for your community club with one of the Australian Football 150 Years Ambassadors, four Australian Football 150 Years footballs and a copy of the Australian Game of Football publication signed by football legend Kevin Sheedy.
The match locator on www.150years.com.au displays all senior community matches scheduled on this weekend (May 9-11) and with your club’s input you will be able to promote your activities and functions being held on this weekend.
All senior community clubs that go on line to register their information, including their specific planned ‘150 Years’ activities will automatically be in the running to win the major prize.
