2008 WAFA Beaver Medal

120 guests filled Subiaco Football Club on Wednesday 20th August to see a tie in the Western Australian Football Association’s 2008 Beaver Medal count.

Darryl Lea-King from Kenwick FC led the count until the last round where Thomas Wynne from Bayswater FC put in a best on ground performance to equal King on 20 votes. This was Darryl Lea-King’s 3rd consecutive win of the prestigious award for the best player in the competition.

Other winners on the night were Steven Hadland, Roleystone FC (Leading Goal Kicker Award on 81 goals) Sharon Seasby, Bayswater FC (Trainer of the Year) and Terry Waldron, Nollamara FC (Administrator of the Year).
